2009 USATF VA Association Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships, Pole Green Park, Mechanicsville, Virginia Sunday, November 15th
Thanks to the 53 parents and runners who showed up on Sunday for the above Championships. Due to the nor'easter--a natural disaster beyond human control--Hanover Parks and Recreation deemed the course "unsafe and hazardous", the course was CLOSED and the events could not be contested. All runners who wanted to advance to the Region III Championships were "automatically" advanced. Forty-one (41) cross country runners from the state of Virginia will be competing on Saturday in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Any of the remaining 17 runners who did not show up on yesterday and still wish to "automatically" declare for the Region III Championships, please complete the individual entry form and email it to Dwight Porter, Youth Chair, Virginia-Association at dpo5517738@cox.net by 12 noon EST, November 17th.
**All $10.00 online entry fees for the Association Championships will be refunded.**
